Examples of the variety and quality of the furniture pieces and cribbage boards hand-made at Natural Flats are shown in the Gallery. The wood species generally available are: walnut, white oak, black cherry, mulberry, butternut, Kentucky coffee, ash and honey locust. Each item shown in the Gallery has been individually hand made. Complimentary or very similar pieces may be available, or custom-made for the buyer.
Custom orders may take 4-6 weeks for completion.
Tables, desks, accent tables and benches are paired with steel legs, custom-made at an area metal-working shop; some are suitably paired
with up-cycled metal bases. The function and versatility of each finished piece is dependent upon the size and shape of the original flat, along with the chosen height and style of the legs or base. Cribbage boards are made from end pieces of the original flats.
